Colonial SC’s Professional Training Program

Colonial SC’s travel program utilizes licensed, professional trainers.

Under this program, a paid, professional trainers work with all Travel teams through U14 during the fall season, which runs from mid-August through late November.

Each team’s trainer will contribute to team and player development by (1) creating and leading training sessions and (2) helping educate and mentor our volunteer coaches. Professional trainers will conduct one training session a week, while our coaches will lead the second weekly practice session and will be responsible for game day coaching and team management.

The program will be led by Danielle Fagan, a United States Soccer Federation National “A” license coach, current EPYSA Olympic Development Program (ODP) coach and former 2-time state champion coach at Conestoga H.S. in Berwyn, PA.

Danielle will personally train a number of our teams, as well as oversee additional trainers to support our program. Danielle has been successfully working with several Colonial teams over the last year and has experience with multiple clubs in our area, including: FC Delco, Lower Merion and Radnor. You can read more about Danielle and her extensive experience here.

Colonial SC believes that the program is a cost-effective way to increase the quality of player training and instruction which will lead to better long-term player development. Questions about the Professional Training program can be directed to Director of Coaching, Doug Cohen or Director of Travel, Shannon Casey.
