Details

Pre-K Soccer is designed for children that are not yet in school. Soccer is a perfect game to keep the attention of preschool children. The program will focus on developing individual fundamental soccer skills using games and fun activities. Participants will develop comfort with the ball and will become familiar with correct motor skill movement patterns in an enjoyable, low-stress environment. This clinic utilizes a professional coaching staff from Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA), the governing body for youth soccer in this area.

The program is also intended to help parents understand soccer development concepts to help them with future coaching. Parents of Pre-K children will begin to see and learn what it takes to foster soccer skills in children of all abilities so that as their children move up through our various programs, parents will be ready to help them learn additional skills.

The program will start in September and run for 7 weeks. Each session is approximately 50 minutes. T-shirts and ball will be provided. Each child will be required to bring a pair of shin guards and a water bottle. Cleats or sneakers are appropriate footwear.
